The Fabric of New Zealand tour is carefully tailored to your special interest.
We offer two boutique tours arranged around the wonderful Quilters Symposium held in Queenstown, April 2011.
The Fabric of New Zealand North to South tour commences in Auckland and ends in Queenstown with the option of adding post tour accommodation while you attend the Symposium.
The Fabric of New Zealand South to North tour commences in Queenstown after the Symposium and ends Auckland with the option of adding pre tour accommodation while you attend the Symposium.
The Fabric of New Zealand tours are different from the rest!
Our tour guide, Angie Simmons, is a passionate quilter and New Zealander (a real “kiwi”). She has chosen her favourite artists, quilting stores and regions to share with you. You will experience New Zealand’s talented artists, fascinating culture and stunning scenery. We know that comfortable accommodation and good food are important to you so we’ve included quality boutique accommodation and great meals at restaurants, hotels, wineries and quirky gourmet cafes.
This tour is a great reason for girlfriends to travel together! But we also know it is nice to travel with your partners, especially as you are travelling some distance from home. So we have thought of them too and we are the only specialised quilters’ tour that offers a fantastic partner programme. Every detail is taken care of and there is time to explore shops and galleries on your own too.
